Bowen Therapy

What is Bowen Therapy?

Originating from Australia , Bowen is a versatile manual therapy chosen by a wide range of people for an equally wide range of conditions.

Suitable for everybody from birth to old age, a treatment can be adapted depending on the individual.

Conditions

The most common presenting conditions include musculoskeletal problems eg back, neck and shoulder pain/restriction.

A gentle process of releasing tension from the fascia helping has an effect across the whole of the body, the symptoms of conditions such as digestive, urinary and respiratory disorders also frequently improve.

It is the holistic approach: addressing the body as a whole that brings about positive change quickly for the majority of clients. Frequently, it is effective where other therapies have not resulted in lasting relief.

Increasingly sought to help with stress-related conditions,a treatment can leave the individual feeling reinvigorated. Clients regularly comment on an improvement in their sense of well-being.
